Rip is sinking to the bottom of the amazon, and having a mystical Chuck Norris experience! Chuck: Listen, kid, you need to put down your bad feelings for Cobra the way I put down the bad guys in "walker, Texas ranger!" Rip: I can't roundhouse kick my way out of these ropes, Chuck. Chuck: What about that conveniently sharp river rock over there? Rip: Right! You're always on top of things - Except when you agreed to do "top dog." Chuck: I'm starting to regret helping you, kid.
A lot has been said about Rip’s inability to commit. I say Poppycock! Commit to who? Cobra, who has demonstrated a propensity for (1) backstabbing Rip when the price is right, or (2) being brainwashed faster than Pavlov’s puppy? Let Cobra show sincerity every once in a while and maybe we’ll see the Haywire present the ring.
