Rip Haywire by Dan Thompson for May 17, 2013
Transcript:
Rip: Listen, short shorts, we need your chopper to stage a rescue. Breezy: I'm an ace pilot, mister. If you need my chopper, I'm flying it! Rip: Kid, this is a dangerous mission. You don't want to get exploded. Breezy: I'm barely making ends meet! I can't afford to lose my chopper! Rip: Don't you have insurance? They'll take care of you! Breezy: I couldn't afford dangerous rescue insurance. Geico charges a fortune for that!

Sorry Bawana, but you’re assessment is incomplete … insurance companies are one of them profit for shareholders deals. The result is … insurance companies are VERY difficult to collect from.

Can’t say I have ever had a problem collecting from State Farm. But I haven’t had any oddball sort of problems like exploding choppers.

Insurance companies are very happy when you pay for their product, but if you actually USE it, they get very grumpy. Sometimes refuse to allow you to pay for it any longer…odd, eh?
