Now Rip. I’m understand being in a bad mood because of the situation you’re in. But that’s no excuse to be so catty. You almost sound jealous. Come on, you’re a married man. And Cobra- I mean Corrine – deserves her happiness.

“My Coffee and Donuts”; is that a euphemism for something?

Telling “Connie” that her cooking is bad, is absolutely not the way to her to help you. Appeal to her patriotism, her sense of adventure, offer to pay for cooking lessons (to help expand her business), even just appeal to her basic greed. Just don’t criticize her cooking, or, insult that deputy she’s pinning for.
