Presumably she either got the land after Pine Tree McGee was dead or she was going to lose it or everything else when Pine Tree wrote her out of his will.
Hmmm… I had assumed it was spelled Pinetree to make it his first name. Does that mean that Pine is his first name and Tree his middle name? Inquiring minds want to know.
