Cobra’s a loanshark now…

“Back stabbing She-Devil” is what Breezy calls Cobra in front of Hazy. When referring to her to others, she has some more descriptive terms. Again, since when does out favorite Black Widow clone do loan sharking? Isn’t the merc business, and, cafe profitable enough?

Why isn’t Mommy along for the ride?

What’s Rip driving there? Is that a Subaru Forrester? A Ka-Kia?

In yesterday’s strip, Bob said he took a loan from “an unsavory character”. Rip seems to have assumed that was Cobra. Given that the observed thug-to-honest person ratio is StarBright is running about 2-to-1, Rip’s assumption may be wildly incorrect.

I agree with Rip in trying to see the good in Cobra. I know she isn’t a goody-two shoes, but I don’t like it when she’s portrayed as completely evil. I prefer to think of her more as an anti-hero type.

I’m thinking Cobra may know who the unsavory character is, but Rip had better choose his words carefully…

COBRA: You’ve got some nerve accusing me that way!

RIP: Did you do it?

COBRA: Of course, I did it! I just don’t like being accused that way!

I like that Rip and Fireball are going on a father/daughter adventure together. I hope to see Rip and Tank do one.
