Transcript:
The death scene in the 1979 film The Champ, starring John Voigt, Faye Dunaway and Rick Schroeder, is regularly used by scientists to elicit sadness for emotional experiments! The greater bird of paradise was given the scientific name Paradisaea Apoda, footless bird of paradise, when Europeans initially thought they were born without feet! Food ball! Coconuts are used as the ball in the ancient Indian rugby like game of Yubi Lakpi!

@PossumPete,If you get some of those Manchineel trees, the stray dogs you don’t want in your yard would be ‘barking up the wrong tree’.

Remakes are never as good as the originals. The 1931 version of “The Champ” is the best. By the way, Wallace Beery won an Oscar for his performence in that movie.

Rick Schroder always was able to cry tears on cue. He’s a good actor. Remember that film he made in Australia with William Holden? He cried and really sounded like he was in shock after seeing his parents get killed.
