Ripley's Believe It or Not!
The labord's chameleon lives for only 16 weeks.
The United States had 3 presidents in both 1841 and 1881.
The ancient Egyptians believed that a toothache could be treated by rubbing a dead mouse on the tooth.
1841: Van Buren, Harrison (died in office one month after having caught pneumonia during his inauguration speech) & Tyler. 1881: Hayes, Garfield (assassinated after being in office six months) & Arthur.
Probably because the victim just said the toothache was gone rather than have the mouse cure? But they were way ahead on using moldy bread on infections!

Was that another reason cats were worshipped in Egypt? Because they saved the trouble of trying to catch the toothache cures?

I’ve had toothaches bad enough that I would have been willing to try anything! Even a dead mouse.
