See snakes can last for 6 months without drinking- they cannot drink seawater! Ostriches eat Pebbles to aid digestion and, in South Africa, they have been known to eat diamonds- they have sometimes been hunted for the contents of their stomachs! Gulp! Tea taxes resulting in real gunpowder as a tea ingredient? I had to go and review what “gunpowder tea” is, and it isn’t grown in Europe at all, but it is green tea from China, Taiwan and Sri Lanka. Gunpowder-shaped pellets for the tea, given peppermint or spearmint flavor in Morocco, an African country; no European input at all.
