In the 1970s, the CIA developed the Insectothopter, a gas powered surveillance drone disguised as a dragonfly, but it proved too hard to control in crosswinds. Persians traditionally collected the tears of mourners at funerals, in the belief that they could be used to bring the dying back to life. Loggerhead turtles return to nest on the exact same beach where they hatched, up to 30 years earlier, navigating thousands of miles across the oceans.

Amazing how random nothingness can result in an animal with the knowledge and intelligence to return to its birthplace 30 years later.
