Svartsoppa, a soup made from goose blood and invented by Vikings, is a traditional dish in Scania, Sweden, eaten in November. British sailors were forbidden from using forks and tell the 19th century because the utensil was regarded as unmanly. Smh- didn't these guys built pyramids!? The ancient Egyptians thought that rubbing turtle brains in the eye could cure a squint.

I hear turtle brains were all the rage until Ray-Bans were on the market.

Or could it be that the fork was not invented until the 19 century.

Hmmm… Poles had (and still have) a similar soup called czarnina made from duck’s blood… Could it be that the Vikings pillaged Busia’s (Grandma’s) recipe box along with the surrounding countryside???

You swabbies want a skirt with your fork? The Ancient Egyptians also used Crocodile dung as a contraceptive.I’ll bet the smell was enough to kill the mood!

Guess if enough turtle brains are on the eye, it would block out the sun-no more squinting!
