Chicken see far more colors and shades than humans do. In a 2014 contest in Amarillo, TX, Molly Schuyler ate a 72 oz steak, baked potato, shrimp cocktail, roll and salad in under 5 minutes- followed by a second full meal and under 10! Soldiers do not march in step when crossing bridges- the vibration caused could collapse the bridge!

Is Molly still alive?
It’s been said that, theoretically (under ideal circumstances), if a cat stomped across the Golden Gate Bridge, he could bring it down with vibrations, because a cat’s walk is so rhythmic.

Never thought of that when it comes to bridge crossing.

If you took ROTC in high school, you were taught that.

Mythbusters took on that story of the soldiers walking in step and could not replicate it, and thus declared it was a myth.

Mythbusters called it plausible

The Army has an order, rout step, that is given when a unit reaches a bridge. When it reaches the other side it is called to attention and forward march is given.

Chickens aren’t the only ones who see more colors; most birds have tetrachromat vision.

I don’t recall marching over any bridges when I was in the Marines. There just weren’t any to cross.

I always find it amazing that many competitive eaters are so small yet can eat so much.

Vision is more cerebral than other senses. Impressive for chickens.

Chickens need to see so many colors so that we can have great looking Easter eggs!

Some people that have had the operation to replace the lens in eyes report seeing more vivid colors, especially the blues. It seems that the retina is sensitive to more colors than what the lens passes.

If that’s the Big Texan Steakhouse in Amarillo I conquered that challenge, but I took closer to the allocated 1 hour.
Afterwards I felt like I had eaten a bag of Sakrete!

Heard a story about chickens painting..I believe it..The other artist watching said the chicken did a better painting then Jackson Pollack…As far as Mythbusters they lost me when they did a story about a Dodge Dakota pickup getting worse gas mileage with the tailgate down…I have a Dodge Dakota and it does get better gas mileage with the tailgate down regardless of their so called instruments outside the vehicle it wasn’t real world science..
