I once lived in an 8 story student housing building where the shell of the building had been constructed in 3 months. There were lengthy cracks upwards of 1/2 inch wide in some of the floors near the outer walls. There are some processes where it’s best to take a little more time and not shoot for Ripley’s or the Guinness Book of Records.
