Transcript:
Li Yanzhi of China's Shaanxi Province has memorized all 220,000 entries in the Oxford English-Chinese dictionary! Acrobatic arachnid! Native to Morocco, the Cebrenus Rechenbergi nicknamed the flic-flac spider escapes danger in a wheel like motion across the desert. Buggy muncher! Alabama university student Camren Brantley-Rios ate insect laced meals three times a day for 30 days!

“…insect-laced meals… for 30 days.”
And? What happened?

I’ve got news for you. We all eat insect-laced meals every day, not to mention rat droppings-laced meals.

So memorizing a dictionary has got to be one of the most pointless achievements that anyone could do.

Can Carmen even eat a flic-flac spider (though it’s really an arachnid) on the move? As for Yanzhi memorizing that Chinese dictionary, what was his or her reading speed of words per minute?
Rob Rex over 9 years ago
Yanzhi should make an excellent translator with that knowledge.

There is a mistake in the item about the spider. Its means of escape is more impressive than cartwheeling. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cebrennus_rechenbergi#Behavior
