Um… from where North America to where Australia did John row? Did he even finish his journey by Christmas since it was in December?

Didn’t John’s arms get tired?

regarding the musical instrument, I dont think it can be classified as an Organ, but it can be described as a Carolan, a percussive instrument.

I walk on a treadmill for 15 minutes and am bored enough to die. John must be devoid of boredom. I was at Luray, it is amazing. I recommend bringing long pants and a sweater. It is 54F in the caverns, no matter what the outside temperature. It is also beautifully lit.

How many days did it take him to row, and how could it be literally “nonstop”. I’m sure he had to stop to sleep every night.

Everybody in the Village plays Chess? Before the internet and cell phones and other brain-numbing toys… EVERYBODY that I know in Boston played Chess, as well as Checkers, Backgammon, Go, Hearts, Whist, Spades and Poker. It is only nowadays that everybody in a village playing chess sounds novel. Will live in an age of stupidity.
