Bamboo can grow about an inch in one hour! Hey mom! Chicks can communicate with her mother from inside their eggs! Fionn Condren, 13, of County Wicklow, Ireland, is already a skilled stunt driver- he was behind the wheel by age eight!
I totally believe that about bamboo. I had a house with the awful stuff surrounding the property. Every day I would have to go out and cut down the stuff that came up since the previous day. And you couldn’t stay outside, it was a complete haven for mosquitoes…
Bamboo is a grass and is God’s gift to use in many ways, even as food. Fishing poles & tender chutes. Furniture, strong and durable building materials, etc.
Hombre Verde kinda hit on it. That entire area behind the house was just so overgrown, sunlight couldn’t reach the ground and dry things out. It was perpetually moist, and living in the southern US, is always humid in the summer.

I hope that little chick isn’t like human babies. S/he would be asking for a drink of water.

I read about a torture where growing bamboo was sharpened and grown under the victim so it would grow thru them.

The ammount of water required for bamboo to grow at that rate means a very humid enviroment, which is why mosquitos will thrive where it is growing
