Charles Dawes is the only US vice president to co-write a chart topping pop song- It's All In The Game was a No. 1 hit in 1958! A goat born without hind legs and China's Yunnan Province can walk balancing on its two front legs! A woman in Boca Raton, Florida, bit by a nurse shark, went to the hospital with the shark still attached to her arm!

Did the medical personnel pry the shark off the woman’s arm?

I just Googled all that about Dawes, myself, cos it suddenly occurred to me…“Wait… Richard Nixon was Eisenhower’s vice president in 1958…”
Coulda save some time, had I looked at the forum first and read Alexi’s Wikipedia quote..
Kinda funny side note:
Dawes played the tune for a friend, and gave him the music. Claimed he didn’t know the friend had taken it to a publisher, till he passed a store on the street, and was surprised to see his own picture on display in the window, with a pile of the sheet music.

If the shark was still attached, it must’ve been really deep in

Too bad she wasn’t also attacked by a Doctor Bird – then she might not even have had to go to the hospital…

It took them two hours to remove the shark. They had to wait until her insurance card was approved and they got their money up front.

Hey, I am old enough to remember when that song was a hit.

At least they had proof for the insurance company. In our area, if a deer strays onto a road, you are better off hitting it. If you miss, go off the road and wreck the car, your proof prances away!

The goat’s brother’s name was “David.” This goat was named, “Affadavit.”
Thank you….I’ll be here all week…

Can you imagine that goat running to you at night in a open field? Can’t think of anything freakier at the moment!
