Glub Club There are at least 26 Volvo cars resting on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean's Bedford Basin near Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. They sank in 1969 after the ship transporting them sustained severe water damage at sea. When Richard II died in 1400, a hole was left in the side of his tomb so mourners could touch his Royal head. The Hundred Years' War lasted 116 years. ?

Should be a good place to fish. They sink cars and Christmas trees in the Chesapeake Bay to make artificial reefs. Here is an article about using subway cars. http://www.mrc.virginia.gov/vsrfdf/redbird_info.shtm

I once ordered a server from Dell that was four weeks late because the video card went to the bottom when the ship ran into a storm and jettisoned all cargo.

After 48 years in ocean saltwater, are they still recognizable as Volvo cars, or even cars?

The Hundred Years War was actually a sporadic affair, not constant fighting. There were some periods of peace before the fighting would erupt yet again. The French did finally manage to win the war, despite some very impressive English victories, such as the Battle of Agincourt.

I bet if that ship was carrying original VW bugs, they would’ve floated into shore! :)
