Mozart sold more CDs than any other artist in 2016, outselling Drake, Beyonce and Adele! Venezuela's Lake Maracaibo gets struck by lightning more than 200 times a year- more than anywhere else on earth! Although the venom of the Deathstalker, one of the most dangerous scorpions in the world, is life-threatening, it also has the potential to help treat brain tumors.

As President Trump might say, Mozart is “an example of somebody who’s done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more.” Happy President’s Day to all the American readers.

To be fair Mozart didn’t sell any CDs in 2016. Different people combined performing his works may have sold more CDs than Drake, Beyonce and Adele in 2016.
.
When Mozart was alive he composed. Now he decomposes.

I’d would gladly listen to Mozart (and often do) before those other so-called “artists”

It’s good to see people haven’t lost their taste for the classics.

Doc: I’ve got good news and I’ve got bad news. Patient: What’s the good news? Doc: your brain tumor is shrinking . Patient: What’s the bad news? Doc: About that scorpion sting; it’s going to kill you.

I disagree with the Mozart statement. While “technically” true, Mozart was not the artist performing on those recordings. When a modern artist records a cover song, they are still the artist that wins the award, not the original author.
So essentially, all those orchestras and classical artists are just glorified cover bands…

Clearly, the typical Mozart fan is simply more likely to be mired in CD technology, the Drake/Beyonce/Adele fan, in streaming.

Next year, maybe they will invite Mozart to the Super Bowl halftime show.

Those other artists sell mostly by streaming —not cds. CDs are old tech. Need to compare actual music sold.
