One of the strangest matches in history! During their 1997-98 season, Chelsea football club played Tromso 100 miles inside the Arctic Circle! The match had to be stopped twice so the snow could be cleared from the pitch! Eighteenth century Italian lover Giacomo Casanova believed in starting the day by eating 50 oysters! Colombian kingpin Pablo Escobar spent an estimated $2,500 a month on rubber bands to hold stacks of cash together. According to his journal, Charles Darwin attempted to ride the giant tortoises of the Galapagos Islands... To no avail.
