    As I understand it [but no expert or authority] they only eschew hard wire connections to the outside [The English] world. For example, in order to be allowed by the board of health to sell dairy products they use portable electric generators to process the milk. Likewise a cell phone would technically be allowed, but perhaps the more orthodox might still shun Tim.
