My grandfather had an entire free standing garage sink to its’ roof line in Port Lavaca, Texas back in the late 60s’ early 70s’. he always claimed it was caused by an apartment building being built a block or so over that changed the drainage pattern to his house. His house foundation also sank some.

Yeah… I am calling “shenanigans” on that Mailbox story. Their Mailbox might have sunk… But they were not getting any mail delivered either.
