I read that one of the most memorable bloopers occurred when the President was being introduced to a large crowd in (i think) Louisiana, The emcee said “Ladies and Gentlemen..the President of the United States Hubert Heever!” ;o{
Before Herbert Hoover got into politics, he fed and saved more lives from starvation than any other human. Ever. Check out http://herberthoover.us/Hoover_About.html The author, Finn D. John, has done an amazing amount of research on what Hoover really accomplished, before his depression-hit presidency and his unfortunate economic response to it. For the recap version: http://offbeatoregon.com/H116_Hoover.htm
Hoover is a much under-appreciated man. Came up from modest roots, made a ton of money for himself and decided that it was his responsibility to contribute to society. He did much to help rebuild Europe after WWI. Such a shame that his efforts to lead us through the Depression failed.
I heard on one of the radio morning talk shows that the most common thing that women think of during intimate please is chocolate. I always doubted it, but now?……..
