I’ve heard different claims about what the funny bone is. The most common is the one stated here. Another one is that is is the Olecranon process, which is part of the ulna. And a third is that one’s funny bone is the humerus.
Where I grew up in Southern California our summer temperatures ran between 105 to 120 degrees. We had to use potholders or towels when handling the seatbelts, and the steering wheels had to have a cover. In those days you didn’t have cloth seats, so towels covered the seats. Kids could get burned on the slides, so we learned pretty quickly you never used the slides in the summer, and definitely don’t wear shorts on them! The asphalt roadways would get a bit soft in the summer because of the heat! Parts of Australia have gotten just that hot this summer!
I’ve seen a video of a Californian baking cookies in her car, and it worked great, but meat is a whole other thing with potentially disastrous consequences if the meat doesn’t get fully cooked. (Of course, raw cookie dough poses a small risk, but it’s quite a small risk, and salmonella isn’t nearly as nasty as trichinosis or worms, if I recall my foods lab class correctly.)

And the nerve in topic is called “funny” because the synonym “humourous” sounds kind of like the bone’s original name “humerus.”

Nothing like a pork roast, cooking for 10 hours in your car; with the smell permeating every crevice inside……dogs will be chasing you for weeks.

I once read something about a boy, who, after hitting his funny bone, decided to call it the unfunny bone.

Perth. Spent some time there long long ago. Windy. Very. Nice folks in town, not so nice in the surrounding areas. I wonder how it is now.

Does that make the car a slow cooker?
