My T shirt is made out of cloth & not water. Is that how the wet T shirts contests got their start?

Dang, if there’s so much water in my tee shirts I might as well stop washing them.

I know folks who visit Biltmore annually. From what they say about the different events and offerings the quality is high, the service is superior, and the family is not losing any money. It is a well run business and should be good a while longer.

The tees and clothing of similar material I have bought in recent years might take a lot of water to make, but lately it seems it only takes about 3 cold water washings for them to shrink almost past wearing. Even a most well known ‘consumer’ brand no longer stands up to normal washing. But that’s in line with so many other once reliable products, so no longer a surprise.

In England, major historical finds are handled by a national society, which controls further development. Looks like Mr Pole made a major find, which might be good for the historical record, but not so much for his garden. Whatever else they find, he lost his aspidistras.

That has to be a really small palace or a really large garden.

I think it’s almost impossible to dig in the UK without digging up some ancient ruin.

The idea of end-user water conservation (“Water waste means water shortage!”) saving us all is terribly naive, as the vast majority of water use is in support of industrial and agricultural processes. As water becomes increasingly critical through widespread supply limits, this should point the way to begin addressing the problem.

Something else to ponder. It takes 500,000 gallons of water to process one ton of Lithium which will produce about 100 electric car batteries. So when we go all electric on the road, water just may be worth more than what gasoline costs today.

I thought Gloria Vanderbilt was the last of the Vanderbilts. Her son Anderson Cooper was disinherited. With a portfolio of $100 million dollars and a yearly salary of $10 million dollars, he will not suffer.

Why would anyone want or even need a house that big? SMH
