Was Spielberg a late bloomer? Did USC Film School have impossibly high standards? Anyone?

The Saudi bakers also know that customers who steal without leaving money will get their hands chopped off.

The sun will eventually become a red giant, and then collapse to a white dwarf. Not massive enough to go out as a showy supernova.

You see a white sun in space because there is no atmospheric filtering.

Studies have shown that putting an image of an eye, or eyes, near an “honour system” payment box significantly increases the amount of honest payments, and reduces the chance of theft

The light of the sun is actually blue to our perception. That is why cameras need to be white balanced — 5600 degrees Kelvin vs 3200 degrees Kelvin. If you have a setting with both tungsten lights (or tungsten-balanced LEDs) and sunlight, you’ll see it depending on which source the camera is balanced for.

I once read an anecdote in Reader’s Digest about a woman who wanted a group photo of her family in a vacation spot. She stopped a passing stranger to take it and he was happy to do so. She took a long time explaining to him how her camera worked. After he took the picture and left, someone in her group asked her why she took so long to explain it. “He seemed to have trouble understanding how it worked.”

“Don’t you know who that was? It was Steven Spielberg!”

Q: Why have aliens not visited our solar system yet? A: they read the reviews – only 1 star.

Of course, in Saudi Arabia, if you don’t pay for (i.e., steal) your items, they’ll cut off your hand, so there’s that.

3 times? Perhaps USC knew a hack when they saw one! Who is going to cheat an honor system in a country where you’ll get your hands cut off for theft? When it comes time to wipe, you’ll find out who your real friends are and fast!

When I was in California, there was a good restaurant where customers were allowed to pay what they liked, or not pay at all.

Good thing they aren’t trying to do business in some big CA or NY stores, where shoplifting is allowed because otherwise it is discriminating against poor people!… and they will be able to spend all the aid that the government gives them on drugs…..

Maybe Spielberg made the mistake of telling USC about his idea for the movie ET. /s

Spielberg’s story isn’t that unbelievable. Teachers have no creativity, or thoughts of their own, which is why they are teachers.

If you think outside the box, you have to act outside it, too. And schools are nothing but boxes.

For the split second I can look at the sun, it looks white to me. On earth, in space, it’s the same.
