Blind mole rats really live up to their name. Their eyes are completely nonfunctional, and have a flat layer of skin covering them instead of openable eyelids.
Like other types of mole rats, they have front teeth outside of their lips, so they can use them to dig without opening their mouths.
So I guess if we split the difference a blind human rat would need about 9% oxygen to survive a sneeze from a demodex mite. ~ Science drop out Todd Setters, hey I proudly left my science studies when I saw how science was spelled, now I’ve got theories about everything

Every disgusting thing you might want to know about Demodex Mites: Male and female mites usually mate inside a follicle opening. They lay eggs inside your hair follicles and oil glands. Larvae hatch within 3-4 days and reach adulthood after 7 days. The mites live about 2 weeks. They usually come out at night to feast on dead skin cells before retreating to their hiding spots to lay eggs. When they die, they break down inside your hair follicles and sebaceous glands.

Actually, the normal oxygen level is 20.9% but gas monitors don’t go into alarm above 19.5% or below 23%. So much for today’s trivial contribution.
