Jimbo: It's obvious you're making some sort of statement, Rose...but I'd like you to explain it to me... Without all of the melodrama.
Rose: I just came out here to get warm!
Jimbo: Fine. I'll turn up the heat.
I just wonder how much money these comic people arew saving when the family gets sick from being cold? Ok ok Iknow it’s just pen and ink but I have seen real people do this then wonder why they are sick all winter.
I HATE summer here in NC. You can’t breathe because the humidity is so high. It’s like living in a 24/7 sauna. Is it my imagination or are Rose and Jimbo having more little spats than usual these days?
LOL Funny how we are all different. Personally I hate the cold but I grew up in Ca. I go outside in the summer to warm up because the cooler gets too cold.
I prefer New England summers over winters. In the case of too hot vs too cold, I do better in the warm. My computer though, not so much which is the main reason I have an air conditioner for the summer.
Jimbo can take a hint!He and I have something in common, although Jimbo might be more extreme than I am. I like to set the thermostat at 68 degrees for the furnace when it’s cold, and 78 degrees for the air conditioner when it’s hot.
I may gripe a bit when it gets freezing but it beats all the sweat and humidity in summer. Plus, my cats cuddled between my legs keep me nice and comfy as we sit in front of the fire.
Extra sweater & socks? ….. A person should not have to wear an over thick sweater that comes down to your knees, gloves, a wooly hat and earmuffs….. INDOORS! And that was at work. Finally am sitting in a spot with little to no drafts. But it still cools down as if the heat was shut off at 4 pm.

Jimbo being picky about the heat reminds me of Andy from Foxtrot.
