Always someone holding up the line. My mom always swore the would replace the refrigerator door with a glass panel so we could SEE there was nothing new in there in the last ten minutes since we last looked.
@emjcee your mother had a great idea, but I think my husband would open door and leave it open while he fixed his sandwich . At least I dont have to fix it!
My pet peeve is people who get to the front of the line in fast food places without deciding what they want. Of course, I realize for types like this it is probably the most complex decision they have to make all week!
Chicken-fried bunny is good – tastes just like….I can remember when we couldn’t afford chicken and supermarket rabbit was about 2/3 as expensive (late 1950s.
And that’s one of the reasons we don’t have a garden this year! Not so much the bunnies as the deer! They ate all of our green beans, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, and okra!

I’ve never eaten rabbit, but I’ve heard it’s very good — all white meat and tender.

Just let Peekaboo out. She’ll take care of those pesky wabbits!

Choose a row until the owner of this garden shows up with an automatic assault rifle! Then all of you will end up on HIS NEXT DINNER PLATE!!!!

Rabbit in the meat department is very expensive. The rabbits in my yard are semi-pets. We have regular conversations, if one sided. :-)

Surprised that no one’s commented on Eddie’s folded “arms” in the middle panel.

I’ve heard that rabbits scream while they’re being killed. I don’t ever want to eat rabbit.
