Personally I learned fairly early in my teenage years to just stand there quietly when around a group of girls and after a few minutes they would forgot I was there. I used to hear all kinds of stuff that they normally would never tell to guys. It certainly made getting dates later much simpler since I had inside info on the “do’s and don’t likes” of the individual girls.

It is easy. I usually say hi to the ladies and ask how their husbands are. I then start talking about a particular football game…. They make excuses to leave me alone pretty quickly.
