I remember one time my parents were having an argument. Now, my parents have had arguments before; no big deal. However, to my brother and me, this one was the worst. We were actually getting worried. Then, suddenly my husband yelled, “D*mmit, Sweetheart!” My brother & I burst into laughter. My parents glared at us, then realization set in. Even though they were yelling at each other, my father STILL referred to my mother by the endearment! They started laughing too…which efficiently put an end to the argument.

Too bad we can’t all practice this. Nice ending.

As my Grandmother said, never go to bed mad at each other because you don’t know if one of you won’t wake up the next day. She spoke from experience.

Sounds like it wasn’t a real fight. They were having a scowling contest. That’s a good thing since Rose and Jimbo never fight!

Reminds me of the game Quakers Meeting has begun no laughing, talking or chewing gum!

Love how she managed that tickle without losing her scowl. Would have been much less effective if she’d smiled too soon.
