I had a cat, Tessa, who loved tea. Every time I made myself a cup she would be in my face. I took an old cup & saucer, affixed the cup to the saucer so that the cup wouldn’t tip, then on Saturday mornings, when I made my morning tea, I’d use my teabag and make Tessa her own cup. We’d sit together and have tea. She never got into my face again, knowing that she would get her cup on Saturdays.
My grandmother used to have a coffee klatch with our dog every day. She would make a warm cup, heavy on the milk and put it on the floor for Boots and then pour herself a cup.. and they would chat… Busia (grandma) in Polish and Boots in “terrier”.

I love the Tension Tamer tea, but I haven’t seen it around lately I hope it returns to the stores here soon. I tried some tea with valerian in it, and that caused even more of a stir than ’nip. There was much interest, and poking of noses into my cup whenever I made that.

As long as you don’t have to eat cat food!
