Now he has to go buy another bucket, just so he has some blue. I think this strip was supposed to be run on Monday. My son takes Monday off to be with his kids and his wife takes off on Fridays for the same reason.

Based on Mimi’s artwork, she may have used up all the other colors, including blue, in this and previous creative extravaganzas.

I dislike the respellings used for this baby’s speech. How is mohr pronounced? Last panel: Are we to think that she draws out the words to and be? How else do you pronounce blue?

Look for the one and three gallon buckets of assorted colored chalks. You need them.

This wouldn’t be a problem in Japan.

All he has to do is to take the yellow out of the green chalk. ;-)

I am curious as to how her white chalk is making colors, yet the bucket has green chalk? Maybe the chalk colors aren’t what they seem?? Maybe one of them will write in blue? And maybe he shouldn’t spoil her so much anyway.
