Probably should have used the pizza for bait.

One could, (if they’re dishonest), go to the store and buy some fresh trout in the fish section. Then tell some bigger than life fish tale.

As my father used to say, “Give a man a fish, and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he’ll starve.”

Darn fish…not cooperating at all!

I’m told by nutritionists, that eating lots of fish is good food for the brain. I guess that is because the fish are always in school.

A pizza made out of bricks would be pretty hard to eat.

Out of luck for fishes but lucky to have the pizza!

The trout decided to stay somewhere over the rainbow.

On Fridays my high school Earth Sciences teacher would tell tales of his college breaks with a couple buddies. One involved a camping trip in Colorado with an expectation that they’d catch enough trout (which they’d poach in Coors beer – only available there then) to feed themselves the whole trip. Only the beer happened. That and his friend “Boom-Boom” one-sidedly befriending a rattlesnake and naming it Herman. Boom-Boom’s first question when he came out of a venom-induced coma was, “Where’s Herman?”

Take the Anthony Bourdain approach and have the crew buy fish at the market just in case the expedition fails miserably.

The fish just weren’t feeling very Ticklish today.

Fishing is probably the best sport for relaxation. You get sunshine, nature and sometimes the fish as well.
