I wonder how you do remote class room discipline? You can’t send them into the corner. Turning off their portion of Zoom, (or whatever program you are using), wont do any good either. And some schools are making a lot of noise about having the parents listening in, (I would think having parents participating with their kids learn would be a good thing. But some school districts think otherwise.).

My girls’ (high school) Orchestra teacher usually has his cat, King Louie, on his lap during their Google Classroom class.

How many of us would have loved being able to go to school like this all the time? I certainly would have!

One of the best parts of the Zoom classroom is seeing the teachers in their homes. My boys absolutely LOVED that aspect. (They’re 7yo) :D

New York just put an end to snow days. If there’s a storm, they do all virtual. I, as a bus driver, get to stay home…

During a virtual class session last week, one of my cats started sniffing and rubbing against the top of my computer giving everyone a nice close up of one of his eyes and nose. I let it happen because I thought it was funny. Can’t do that in a classroom.

“most scariest”? Just “scariest” says it all. Leave out the “most”. It doesn’t make “scariest” any scarier, it just makes you seem, well, scarier.

Apart from the Sunday strip thanking the care workers (which apparently was done by many strips on that day), this is the first strip here acknowledging the changes brought by COVID.
