Has anyone considered doing a “strip within a strip” here about Ranger Rory? Like the way Li’l Abner used to run whole story arcs of Fearless Fosdick, or the “My IX Lives” soap opera in Breaking Cat News?
Ah, ESCAPE! ADVENTURE! Go for it, Jimbo! For some reason I’ve started going through Anne McCaffery’s Pern series again. . .also downloaded Audible versions of “Around the World in 80 Days” and “Journey to the Center of the Earth”. . .wonder if the magic of adventure will still hold
My favorite is a series of essays a 10 year old girl wrote for Oral English classes because she had a speech impediment. Wise teacher. Later the little girl became a public speaker. She would be given a topic, write an introductory sentence and then vere off the subject and return at the end. Ah, the world as seen by a 10 year old.

A good family that shares. Most families that I see its — “Mine, mine, mine, you can’t have it, it’s mine, all mine.”

It’s heart warming to see a father and son share a passion.

My Dad used to read my comics books more or less the same way when I was a kid. We still share books today.
