Keaton was said to have claimed to have gone through over 1000 of his trademark Pork Pie hats during his career. Lost or damaged while filming, stolen by Fans, loaned and not returned by various people, etc.

My first and only cultural reference to that particular headwear is Joe Jackson’s I’m the Man.

Big deal; I have a fedora, a derby, a beret and a straw boater which I wear at different times of year.

I always wondered what a porkpie hat looked like. Maybe it would look better if Jimbo and Corky were wearing vintage clothes.
