The Three Musketeers & D’Artagnan had breakfast on the bastion. Even remembered the wine, the white linen tablecloth & napkins running through the fusilade.
One of my favorite memories was when I picked up my 2 young boys from school at lunchtime, with hotdogs wrapped in foil and hot chocolate and their ice skates, and went to the nearby park pond to eat and ice-skate!… then drove them back to school for the afternoon session! We were the only ones on the pond at that time, and it’s a very special memory for me!
