I love spiders. They’re harmless and help with pesty flies by catching and killing them.

Jimbo, you know that spiders hide behind couches, don’t you?

Maybe the spider is just looking for another spider so that they could become newlywebs.

Nothing like a spider to turn Jimbo into Little Jimbo!

Those of us who live in an area that has Brown Recluse spiders fully appreciate Jimbo’s phobia. You REALLY don’t want to be bitten by one.

Drinking glass, piece of paper. Glass over spider, paper on top to keep it in, take outside and shake it out on a bush or the grass. Easy Peasy.

Rose (or Vickie) if you can remain that calm in the face of a spider, you deal with it.

I love my spiders they are why I have no mosquitoes in summer and rarely a fly inside.

My husband and daughter are arachnophobic. I am not usually (depends on the size, however) But in any case, I am the one to deal with them. My daughter is not as bad as my husband was. As long as she is not startled by one, she can take care of them up to the size of the tip of her baby finger. The only one that gave me the heebie jeebies was one that was the size of the palm of my hand in my sister’s basement. It moved fast!! I wound up throwing a 2×4 on it, crushing it. I was not going to check on it right away. I waited a day or two. But I did get it. I think it was a wolf spider. We have a lot of them around here. Outside – fine. Inside, nope. Small ones, I will capture and move. Ones that size, I can’t cope with.

I never understood Rose and Jimbo’s arachnophobia.

Poor guy, the hairy tiny creature is the only one facing the Gumbo’s wrath.

Aw, I feel so sorry for people with arachnophobia! Spiders are wonderful creatures!
