She who always is so quiet, is extremely vocal on the way to the vet, and so quiet on the way home. Finally, realized that traveling in the carrier was not pleasant for her. She likes to look out the window. Now, the carrier is secured but in a way she can look out and is much happier.

Reschedule Perkaboo, not cancel. You’ll still have to go.

Just wait till she sees the size of her vaccination needle when she does visit the Vet.

When my cat is taken to the vet, she swears like a sailor. My wife & I humourously accuse each other’s fathers of influencing her. (My father was a truck driver, her father an Air Force sergeant.)

Our cat let herself be admired by the vet, get her shots, and jumped back into the carrier to go home when she had had enough.

Funny. My dogs like going on rides and love seeing the vet.

This cartoon comes the day after this old lady had to wrestle 26lbs of angry pussycats (a 15-pounder and an 11-pounder) into two carriers and haul them to the vet for shots. Such mournful meows all the way to the vets office. Fortunately it was a short trip. And fortunately the vaccinations are good for three years. I think that’s how long it’s going to take before the biggest and grumpiest of the two finally forgives me.
