Yummy. They have already eaten the new foliage of the hollyhock. Left the stems. Research indicates that not only are the leaves edible for rabits and tasty for humans. I’ll pass on that.
I have found that if you add coconut oil to your kale it makes it so much easier to scrape it off your plate and into the trash. Follow me for more recipes! :-)
Rabbit stew is all I can imagine when I see this! I hear rabbit can be fries, Southern style? I could try some curries… The veggies will be a nice accompaniment.
Save your old stubs and nubs of bar soap and circle your vegetable garden with them. The soap won’t stop the voles [they eat the roots of the veggies] but it is a deterrent for the squirrels and bunnies.
Several summers ago, my hubby ran into the house saying he’d just seen a rabbit in the garden and despaired of losing things. He found his .22 and ran back out. By the time he returned, unsuccessful, I had cued up a YouTube of a Bugs Bunny cartoon for “Kill de wabbit, kill de wabbit…” and had the volume blasting.

Bugs Bunny not withstanding, rabbits are not particularly fond of carrots and carrots are not particularly good for rabbits.

Hassenpfeffer! I used to make rabbit several times a year, but it has priced itself out of my budget.

When I lived in the country, people would use moving, noisemaking things to keep rabbits and squirrels out of their gardens.

If there are rabbits in the area an indoor garden may be best, if there is any room for one.
