My dad would complain about rock music and such if he took us to a concert when we were too young to go alone. (1960s-70s) But on the other hand, he would also brag to friends that our family liked all kinds of music from classical to rock and that we go to the concerts together. (But then again, if we went to a concert a year, including the free ones in summer in the park, it was a lot.)
