There was a Japanese show called “33 Minutes Detective”.There would be a murder and the murderer would confess within the first 5 minutes of the show, so the detective would come up will outlandish theories of who and how to fill in the rest of the show, coming back to the original confessor at the proper ending time. Of course it was a comedy.
