When I was a kid, we knew the dumb do-dos. And the dumb Dora’s. And the dumb Kophs.
Not pointless if they like each other and share reminiscences.
How very sad!
And the last stuffed Do-Do was mistakenly thrown away by the Smithsonian
Need to find a way to change Earl to an Earlene.

“Pogo” had a strip like this, way back – late 50s or early 60s. Two rare owls were captured by a greedy pig, who planned to breed them and make a fortune. The owls signed off by saying, “Goodnight, David.” “Goodnight, Chet.”
