The fact that there is no ‘intelligent’ life in this country, often suspected in the more civilized parts of the planet, is now demonstrably obvious! “Beam me up, Scotty, there’s no intelligent life here!”
There’s plenty of intelligence in this country—Hillary got nearly 3,000,000 more votes than Trump, which I’m sure everyone knows. What we have a lot of, unfortunately, are intelligent ne’er-do-wells who don’t play well with others. They’re ego-starved and need to posit themselves as god-like by denuding others of their rights, dignity and well-being. And now, not only do we have our own home-grown misanthropists, but we have electronic invaders from other—hostile—countries. The vast majority of the sane, who just want to live our lives, short as they are, in peace in the harmless pursuit of our individual happiness, are overrun by those whose harmful pursuits disrupt ours and imprison us within their wilfulness. And we can’t build a wall to keep them out. What they want is hundreds of billions of dollars for their kind and hegemony over all. Tredecillions of dollars can’t fill those who are infinitely empty; they will never actually be happy in the long run. And they’ll make sure we aren’t, either. Lucky us.
