Canadian winters aren’t that much different from a Midwest winter. But do the Canadians WANT Americans to immigrate? Maybe they’ve been watching us and think, “Not these guys!”
Since the southern border is now an open border here in the U.S., I think Canada might just have to build a wall a wall on their southern border to keep us from doing just that. I can handle Canada just fine. I’m only ten miles to the border here in northern Maine.
I’ve had more than five decades of Canadian winters, and I honestly don’t know how many more I can stand. Where can I move that’s like Canada, but without Canadian winters?
We had a moose walk up to our car in Alaska. My husband could have opened his window and reached way up to stroke her belly, but he’s not dumb. Moose have tempers.
My son and I skied for a week: Calgary and Kicking Horse. I was freezing my cojones off in full insulation and the canucks were in shirtsleeves. The biggest plus of the trip for my boy was being able to legally drink at the bar. He was 18.

Moose are tall enough to decide you’re too close, charge you, knock you down, and stomp on you.

Considering we have our own fascist dictator at present, which we can’t get rid of for another year or so, better think twice before you head north.

A typical bull moose stands 6 1/2 to 7 feet tall, at the shoulder, and can weigh upwards of 1600 lbs.
A P.O.’d moose will stomp you into a red puddle, and not even break a sweat.

I moved to Canada, but from the U.K., not the U.S., 54 years ago. Things have changed, but I still have my Scouse accent!

After watching Letterkenny and Trailer Park Boys, Canada does not appear to be much of an improvement over Arkansas.

A moose is probably more iconic but I’ve seen bears in town more often. Bears, our real indigenous population.
