It’s not that it is too complicated. It’s just that you cannot build an orbital elevator system with mud bricks. The previous comments in this section clearly illustrate the difficulties inherent in forming a cohesive whole using the available materials.It is, literally, in engineering terms, a bridge too far.Of course, if only they would listen to me and become a graphite super-composite material instead of flesh and blood mayflies…
