I had a co-worker give me a speech like that some decades ago and it actually sank in. For a while. Now I’m insufferable again. I wonder whatever happened to that guy.
I used to lament that nobody got me, but then I counted up all the near-misses and decided to count my blessings and keep my head down. And not to stand up, either.
