Chicken 1: Your book of poems sucks. Chicken 2: Think you can do better? Imagine the smell of garbage the sharp putrescence of milk and old meat, both expired, mired in the dusty tang of cat litter. Imagine this, pressed between two covers, and you will know this book of poetry.

I thought that the Subject Chicken was writing an ode to all the things he loves to eat – therefore, thought he was speaking of those as high positives — til the end.
