Bamboo, very good.Pretty leaves, make me happy.No chickens today.

Cross the line of poetry?

Make it a punch line.

The first two lines were

Models of literature.

The last line was crap.

While totally unrelated to this great comic (well done Doug!), one of my fav haikus from an incongruous source is from the movie, Miami Blues with Alec Baldwin. “Breaking entering. The dark and lonely places. Finding a big gun.”

It looks like the kind of literature, that is better openly expressed, than merely kept inside.
