When my kids were little, I taught them to go to their pre-school teacher and say:

I know what a cow says: Mooo!

I know what a horse says: Neigh!

I know what a 600-pound gorilla says: Me want banana, NOW!

Bull snakes are one of the true impressionists. When you corner one, they will pretend to be a rattler, a cobra, and a copperhead. If none of that works, they play dead. How an American snake knows instinctively about these other snakes is a true mystery.
